Account Deletion Request
Submit a request to permanently delete your Vakeel Sahib account, profile, and associated records.
How to Request Account & Data Deletion
Method A: In-App Instant Deletion
- Open the Vakeel Sahib app or navigate to vakeelsahib.com/profile.
- Go to Chamber Settings / Profile.
- Click on "Delete Account" at the bottom of the profile page.
- Confirm your account password and click "Confirm Delete". Your account will be immediately deleted.
Method B: Email / Web Deletion Request (Without App Access)
- Send an email from your registered address to privacy@vakeelsahib.com or support@vakeelsahib.com.
- Subject:
Account Deletion Request - [Registered Email/Phone]. - Our privacy team will process and purge your records within 7 business days.
What Data Is Deleted vs. Retained
Upon account deletion, all personal credentials, uploaded KYC ID cards, chamber profiles, and push notification tokens are permanently erased. Statutory Bar Council public roster records remain part of public registry listings (unlinked from your account). Certain transaction, invoice, tax, accounting, or compliance records may be retained for the period required by applicable law, regulatory obligations, or legitimate compliance requirements.
